Class Time
First up, Potions with Professor Stewart (Matthew).
(get it?  stew?  he was so proud of that joke)
To make their potions, students could choose from:

Hinkypunk ears (dried apricots)
Flobberworms (gummies)
Albino snakeskin (coconut)
Boomslang skin (dried apple slices)
Doxy droppings (chocolate sprinkles)
Powdered unicorn horn (powdered sugar)
Dragon's blood (corn syrup w/red food coloring)
Beetle eyes (round candy sprinkles)
Bubotuber pus (pineapple juice)
Moondew (apple juice)
Wartcap powder
Dried slugs
Powdered liondragon egg
Powdered pufferfish
(these were different flavors of Kool-Aid mixes)
The potions were left to stew while we had the rest of our classes.  After they were finished stewing, we strained them into goblets.  Each student had to describe their potion's effects, and then they drank some.  Apparently a lot of them were lacking in Dragon blood or unicorn horn because we got a lot of "sour" faces!  Potions was voted most popular class of the afternoon.
After potions was Charms.   Since underaged wizards aren't allowed to do magic outside of school, I just taught them the incantations and wand movements.  We learned a lot, including Alohamora, Expecto Patronum, Wingardium Leviosa, Expelliarmus, and the popular Reducto (which blasts things out of your way).   We also talked about wand safety, such as not sticking your wand up your nose, which the girls took much more seriously than the boys, as you can see.
Our last class was Flying.  We went out in the backyard for this.  We had a rather pathetic selection of "school brooms" (one was just a stick with no broom part and one was actually a Swiffer).  After learning how to hold the broom correctly they practiced "flying" around the yard.  Then we had a game of Quidditch (hitting a soccer ball with brooms) that was enjoyed by all.

Explaining the ingredients and going over safety rules ("you can only use ONE or TWO drops of Dragon blood!  It's VERY powerful!")
